Michael Urie Says Entire Ugly Betty Cast Is Interested In A Revival
These days a television show doesn't have to be off-air for decades before it can be resurrected for a revival run or a reboot. For particular fan favorites like, oh say, ABC's Ugly Betty, it seems there are murmurs of a revival or questions about one every year.

Most recently Michael Urie, who played flamboyant Mode gossip Marc St. James, was asked whether or not he and the rest of the cast would be interested in reviving the dramedy. "In a minute!" he told Vultureduring a recent Torch Song after-party. "We all would. We loved each other so much and we loved it so much. We would absolutely do a revival and if you're listening, ABC, please make it happen."
It's hard to believe that it's been eight years already since the finale of Ugly Better aired. The show wasn't afraid to tackle subjects like adolescent sexuality during a time when contemporary LGBTQ representation on television was still trying to find its footing. Vanessa Williams, who played Wilhelmina Slater, and Becki Newton, who played Marc's partner in crime Amanda Tanen, also expressed interest in a revival. Now send out the memo to the rest of the Mode staff.
