Bob The Drag Queen Guest Hosting 'Trixie & Katya' For End of Season

As Katya Zamolodchikova takes a step away from media for the year to focus on her health, Bob the Drag Queen will step into her place as guest host of the final five episodes of Viceland's The Trixie & Katya Show.

"For the second half of the season, we decided to get someone to make me look even more beautiful," Trixie expains in the announcement. "Please welcome Bob the Drag Queen!"

Bob's first episode will air next Wednesday, February 28, at 10:30 PM EST on Viceland. The Season 8 winner of Drag Race will also appear this year as Belize in a West Coast production of Angels in America.

"Everyone continues to support Brian (Katya) on his path to getting healthy," said Viceland Executive Producer and SVP Development, Nomi Ernst Leidner, in a press release. "While we will miss Katya dearly, we are very excited to offer fans more episodes of The Trixie & Katya Show with another powerhouse from the Drag Race roster."

Trixie Mattel is currently appearing on Ru Paul's Drag Race: All Stars season 3--just last night, she finished in the top two of competition.
