Stefon Returns to Saturday Night Live For St. Patrick's Day
With Bill Hader returning to host Saturday Night Live on St. Patrick's Day, there was no way his most beloved character, the hard-partying Stefon, wouldn't make an appearance. Weekend Update didn't disappoint, as Stefon appeared to give his recommendations for tourists seeking St. Paddys excitement.
"If you're drunk in Midtown doing cheap coke off your laundry card, I have just the place for you," drawled Hader. "New York's hottest club is GADDUSH. Inspired by true events, this former CVS, which became a Chase Bank, and then became a CVS again, has a familiar yet troubling feel -- like when Larry King would play himself in a movie. This place has everything: desk sets, key fobs, kale chips, Roman J. Israel, Esq." Stefon's appearance also included a Call Me By Your Name reference, an appearance John Mulaney as a Stefon's "conceptual piss artist" lawyer, and the revelation that Stefon and Seth Meyers are "versatile."
