After RuPaul's Drag Race Season 8 queen Robbie Turner tweeted about her involvement in a deadly car crash-- and the subsequent controversy surrounding the truth of those claims-- Robbie Turner's employer told The Stranger that she will "take some time away."
The company learned of this supposed incident last weekend from Robbie's social media post. "In full support of our friend and manager, we reached out to evaluate Robbie's condition and offer any help with his physical and mental recovery," said Turner's home bar, Queer/Bar, in a statement to The Stranger. "We also reached out in an attempt to support the driver's family in their difficult time. And then we discovered some inconsistencies with the story."
