The trailer for A Very English Scandal is out, and we're delighted to have a look at Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw as lovers in the United Kingdom.
The 3-part period piece will see Grant playing former British Liberal political party leader Jeremy Thorpe, who was sent to trial for the attempted murder of his ex-lover, Norman Scott (Whishaw) in 1979.

Queer as Folk's Russell T. Davies wrote the limited series, and it will be directed by Florence Foster Jenkins' Stephen Frears.
Whishaw married his husband in 2013, and recently appeared in BBC's Queers. Grant has played gay before, most notably in James Ivory's Maurice in 1987.
