New names are being attached to RuPaul's upcoming Netflix project, AJ and the Queen, as the cast is rounded out ahead of the comedy series' premiere.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arrow and Orange is the New Black alum Josh Segarra is among the new hires and will play Mama Ru's boyfriend in the series. Michael-Leon Wooley (The Princess and the Frog), Katerina Tannenbaum (Sweetbitter), and Tia Carrere (Wayne's World) will also join the series, written by RuPaul and Michael Patrick King of Sex and the City fame.
Segarra will play Hector, Ruby's boyfriend who possesses a dark, dangerous side. Wooley will play Louis a blind drag queen, while Tannenbaum is cast as Brianna, described as a "clueless hooker with a deep connection to AJ." Carrere is Lady Danger, a villain who has gained infamy in the local drag scene for injecting her clientele with cheap silicone.
The 10-episode series will stars the Emmy-winning host as Ruby Red, a drag queen whose down on her luck and travels across America from club to club in an RV from the '90s with her sidekick, AJ, a recently orphaned, tough-talking, 11-year-old stowaway (with Ru performing a musical number in each club). As the unlikely pair travels they spread Ruby's message of love and acceptance, changing the lives of people they encounter along the way.
