Lesbian Obsession Strikes Again in ‘Killing Eve’ Season 2 Trailer

Knives up, little Oksanas!

Knives up, little Oksanas, the first trailer for Killing Eve season two is finally here. Put on your poofy pink dress, grab a hair pin that doubles as a weapon, spray on some expensive French perfume, and get excited for another season of sapphic fun.

When we last left disgraced MI5 officer Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and homicidal Francophile Villanellem nee Oksana (Jodie Comer), their country-hopping, sexually charged game of cat and mouse had finally culminated in an intimate meeting at Villanelle's Parisian apartment, where the two cuddled in bed, about to finally consummate their unhealthy obsession when Eve stabbed Villanelle in the stomach. "I really liked you," bemoaned the assassin before fleeing.

According to a press release, season two of Killing Eve picks up "just 30 seconds" after the end of season one. The teaser, scored with a femme cover of Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love," finds Eve afraid she may have killed the woman her life has come to center around. But Villanelle is very much alive, having a Kill Bill hospital moment as she sucks on a lollipop before setting out to find a kitchen knife she can use to stab an unsuspecting homeowner.

"Why are Villanelle and you so interested in each other," asks MI6 head honcho Carolyn (Fiona Shaw), which might be the series' most fundamental question. Their mutual obsession is what drives the show and we can't wait to dive deeper into it when Killing Eve returns.
