Just five months after the initial announcement that Chella Man would star in the second season of Titans, we get our first glimpse of his character Jericho in a trailer for the series.

At 20 years old, Man is quite accomplished. He put his name in the history books after being signed to IMG Models, and this is after he made a name for himself on social media sharing his transition with followers. Now the genderqueer artist and activist is ready to make his mark as an actor on the DC Comics' subscription service, DC Universe.

On the show, Jericho has the ability to possess anyone he makes contact with. He uses this power as well as sign language to communicate as he is deaf. Man himself is also deaf.

"As a Deaf individual who uses sign language on a daily basis, Jericho's primary mode of communication hits close to home," Man wrote on Instagram for the trailer premiere. "I RARELY saw sign language authentically represented on screen growing up, so this incredible opportunity has made my heart soar." Jericho as a character is also canonically bisexual.

The series will debut on September 6.

"Who you are should NEVER limit what you dream to achieve," Man wrote. "Take it from a deaf, queer, Jewish, person of color who has always dreamed of being a superhero and has now been granted that exact opportunity."

This comes as a part of a wave of diversity for the superhero world. Over in the Marvel Universe, the new King of Asgard, Valkyrie, is bisexual and in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, will "need to find her queen," according to Tessa Thompson, who plays the character.
