Netflix's Sex Education was one of 2019's best new shows, and it's returning this month with more British teenage sexual hijinks. The first trailer for the new season just landed, giving us an idea of what's going on for the show's extremely horny cast.
Season one saw Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey) launch a sexual health clinic at school to guide their waywards peers, inspired by Otis' sex therapist mother, played by Gillian Anderson. But the real standout of the show was Ncuti Gatwa's Eric, Otis' unabashedly queer BFF, who ended the season by having a cliffhanger hookup with his bully Adam (Connor Swindells), who was swiftly shipped off to reform school by his strict headmaster father.
Netflix's official logline for season two says that "late bloomer Otis must master his newly discovered sexual urges in order to progress with his girlfriend Ola whilst also dealing with his now strained relationship with Maeve. Meanwhile, Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a chlamydia outbreak, highlighting the need for better sex education at the school and new kids come to town who will challenge the status quo."
One of those new kids is a French student who, the trailer teases, sparks up a romance with Eric. Netflix knows that what we really want (and deserve) is a horny gay teen love triangle! Take that, Love, Simon.

Sex Education returns to Netflix January 17.
