Andy Cohen is ready to "spill the reali-tea" in an all new E! Docuseries about the history of reality television coming in early 2021, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The seven-part series, titled For Real: The Real Story of Reality TV, will feature all our favorite reality tv moments, as well as interviews with the stars involved to get the inside scoop on what really went down and how.
In a statement on Sunday, Cohen said he's "thrilled to look back at the shows that formed my love for reality TV, and interview the icons of the genre. This series is like great candy!"
In a promo for the series, Cohen teases talking about legendary shows from the past several decades like Real Housewives, America's Next Top Model, and The Simple Life.
Cohen is no stranger to reality tv, hosting and producing the Emmy nominated talk series Watch What Happens Live for the past decade while also executive producing Real Housewives and hosting that series's reunion specials.
According to a release from E!, the series will also look at Keeping Up With the Kardashians, The Bachelor, Real World, and Survivor, among others. Each episode will feature Cohen talking about the moments that "radically affected society on a global scale," and will feature commentary from both the stars involved in the shows as well as industry insiders and journalists.
Rachel Smith, executive vice president of development at Bravo and E!, called Cohen "a reality connoisseur in his own right" who "takes viewers on a deep and captivating journey into a genre that's forever captivated audiences and impacted pop culture" in a statement. "At a time where the world is constantly changing, For Real: The Story of Reality TV offers the perfect escape we all need; an opportunity to sit back, relax and submerge into a world that's captured so many," she continued.
