Mrs. Clinton herself picked a winner of the first ever Give Them Hill drag pageant.
UPDATE (3/6/2020): On Thursday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Hillary Clinton judged the first "Give Them Hill" drag pageant, where Trinity the Tuck, Peppermint, and Alaska Thunderfuck dressed up as eras of the former politician. Trinity dressed as collegiate Hillary, Peppermint as 90's Hillary, and Alaska as present day Hillary.
“Category is: stars, statements, & legends! It's the first annual #GiveThemHill drag pageant featuring @TrinityTheTuck, @Peppermint247, & @Alaska5000 as @HillaryClinton from different eras! #OneHillOfAShow”— WWHL (@WWHL) 1583467200
The winner? Well apparently there's room for everybody!
ORIGINAL (3/5/2020): If the first 15 minutes of this week's episode ofRuPaul's Drag Raceweren't enough drag to hold you over until the full showing, don't worry, we've got a touch more. Tonight on Bravo, Drag Race alum Trinity the Tuck, Peppermint and Alaska Thunderfuck will make an appearance, all dressed up as one Hillary Clinton.
In what is being billed as the "first annual Give Them Hill drag pageant," the appearance features the queens as the former first lady and presidential candidate from different eras. It's clear to all that Alaska got "Hillary running for president," as she appears in an all-white suit.
The episode will be Clinton's debut on the show, and she's likely to serve up at least a little commentary on Elizabeth Warren's run though it's unclear whether or not the episode was filmed before or after Elizabeth Warren officially bowed out.
In an incredibly short clip from the episode she professes to be happy to be on the show.
“It's going to be #OneHillOfAShow in the Clubhouse tonight! Don't miss it when HRC stops by #WWHL at 10:30PM! 🤩 @HillaryClinton @Andy”— WWHL (@WWHL) 1583432087
This comes, of course, in what seems to be a golden era of drag on television. In addition to cameos like this, and all the various versions of Drag Race, there's a growing genre of content built around alums of the show. Plus, there's enterprising creatives like Marti Gould Cummings, building their own content independent of Drag Race. Cummings currently hosts a web show about politics, which fits as they are running for political office in New York City. Maybe Peppermint, Alaska and Trinity reached out to them for a few tips.
"Start your engines, and may the best nasty woman win," the official Watch What Happen's Live account tweeted of tonight's episode.
