New year, new hosts!

Saturday Night Live is set to return at the end of the month with five consecutive shows. While the lineup of hosts is strong we have our eyes on one member of the Rose family: Daniel Levy is slated to host.

As has been said ad nauseam, Levy had quite the 2020. Among other things he made history at the Emmy Awards by the sheer number of trophies he took home, he also became the first person to ever take home an award for acting, writing, and producing in one night, all for Schitt's Creek. The series is also up for five Critics Choice Awards with Levy up for Best Supporting Actor. He appeared in People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue, and had a few scene-stealing moments in Hulu's Happiest Season. Now, he's going to host Saturday Night Live for the first time ever.

Levy will host on February 6 and Phoebe Bridgers will perform as the musical guest. Bridgers also had quite the 2020 and is currently up for four Grammy Awards including Best New Artist.

Other upcoming hosts for Saturday Night Live are Regina King and John Krasinski.

Last year, it was RuPaul that got his first hosting gig on the longrunning series and the performer really turned it out. We expect no less from Levy who is working on a number of projects, none of which have been announced. Those projects are a part of an overall deal with ABC Studios. One of them is a romantic comedy that Levy could star in.
