8 Costume Ideas For LGBTQ+ Couples This Halloween
Are you and your boo still looking for the perfect queer couples costume? Look no further!

Halloween is the perfect time for you and your partner to get dressed up and celebrate your love (and how hot you look in coordinated costumes)! And as everyone knows, the best couple's costumes are gay!
We've scoured pop culture, TV, the internet, and everything else in between to bring you some of our best ideas for couples' costumes this year, and we've found some great ones!
So head over to Spirit Halloween or your local thrift store and pick up the items you need to be a part of one of these great queer couple's costumes!
1. Bisexual Robin and bisexual Superman
Since both Robin and Superman came out as bisexual this fall, why not pair them up for the ultimate superhero couples costume? You can go all-out with fancy costumes, or just do a yellow speedo for Robin and a mask, and a red speedo and cape for Superman!
2. Nandor and Guillermo from 'What We Do in The Shadows'
We are LIVING AND DYING for this ship this year!!! After Guillermo realized that he's in love with his master Nandor this year, they're sure to be a popular couples costume. Nandor's costume is a little fancy, with his giant cloak, man-bun, and vampire fangs, but for Guillermo all you need is a sensible sweater and a wooden stake!
3. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy
The ultimate supervillain teamup! We love Harlivy forever, and now that they're canon in the Harley Quinn HBO Max series, they're more popular than ever before. This should be a huge costume for sapphics this year!
4. Pete and Chasten Buttigieg
This is a pretty simple one! Both of you will need to put on your slacks and dress shirts for this one. For Pete, add a tie. And for Chasten, add a pair of glasses. Walk around shaking people's hands and saying "God Bless America" for full effect.
5. Lil Nas X and Satan
Lil Nas X and Satan is the ultimate sexy costume this year! Put on some booty shorts and knee-high boots for Lil Nas, and your best leather fetish gear and devil horns for Satan. Then give your partner lap dances all night and have the best Halloween of your life.
6. Adora and Catra from 'She-Ra and the Princesses of Power'
This is our first real Halloween since Catradora became canon, so make it count! These costumes aren't exactly simple, but they are definitely iconic. Catra and Adora are definitely new members of the Official Lesbian Canon.
7. Carey and Brooke Dubek from 'The Other Two
Okay, so they're a sister and gay brother, but they're still one of our favorite TV duos! For creative manager and super-agent Brooke, put on your best Girl Boss suit and blonde wig, and for Carey find your best normcore struggling actor look -- maybe a t-shirt, skinny jeans, and a leather jacket that was cool five years ago.
8. Luz and Amity from 'The Owl House'
You can go all out or go simple with these adorable sapphic teen witches. For Amity, all you need is a black dress, pink wig, and pointy ears, and for Luz, all you need is a short-sleeved hoodie, jean shorts, and leggings. Then you're the cutest teen couple on the Dinsey Channel!
