The 17 Hottest, Most Heartfelt 'Wynonna Earp' WayHaught Moments, Ranked
The 17 Hottest Wayhaught Moments from Wynonna Earp
Not only is Emily Andras' SYFY western Wynonna Earp (airing Friday nights, in what could be it's last season) one of our favorite shows, but it has one of the best lesbian couples on all of television. Waverly Earp and Officer Nicole Haught, or WayHaught, as they are known, are one of the most authentic and hottest queer couples in the West. Played by Dominique Provost-Chalkley and Kat Barrell, who are both queer, WayHaught has won it's way into the hearts of sapphics everywhere. When this bisexual cutie and lesbian sheriff get together, there's no shortage of sexy moments. These are our 17 favorites from the show so far.
17. We Need More Lube
This season three scene pulls a bit of a fast one on the audience as we hear panting and "we need more lube" before seeing that it's just Nicole trying to get the demon Bulshar's ring off of Waverly's finger. Still pretty hot though.
16. You Are So Pretty and I Like You So Much!
Nicole is so cute when she can't lie to Waverly, especially when she's drunk. After giving away that she took a pregnant Wynonna to a strip club, she still can't help but be happy when an angry Waverly finally catches up with them. With her big puppy dog eyes, a drunk Nicole tells Waverly, "you are so pretty and I like you so much," and it's just the best.
15. The First Proposal
While it doesn't go exactly as planned, the first time Waverly proposes to Nicole in season three episode 12 is still sweet and one of our favorite moments of them as a couple.
14. Santa Baby
It's Christmas in season three, and Waverly wants to get something extra special for her favorite Christmas present. What she does is dresses up as a sexy Mrs. Claus and performs a little song and dance for Nicole. This is couple goals.
13. Luscious, Funny, Hot as Hell
Every moment when Waves and Officer Haught are together alone is a wonderful one. This season three moment is one of the sweetest. While telling Waverly about a fight she got in, Nicole tells her that 'you are the only luscious, funny, hot-as-hell baby I need."
12. She's All That
It's the season one finale, and everyone's all dressed up to the nines. Waverly walks slowly down the stairs and when she and Nicole see each other, it's like they're seeing each other for the first time. It's like a fairy tale.
Later in the episode, when Nicole's life is in danger, Waverly finally tells her sister that she and Nicole are dating and tells her that she loves her.
11. Waking up Together
At the beginning of season three, we get to see Nicole and Waverly in queer bliss together. They're happy, they're in love, and they're waking up in bed together. This is how it should always be.
10. Where You Go, I Go
The team is trapped in a Purgatory with no Wynonna and basically everything sucks. Waverly and Nicole aren't even a couple in this universe! Surrounded by bad guys trying to kill them, Waverly comes up with a desperate last minute plan.
"Where you go, I go," Nicole tells her and then they kiss. Not even alternate realities can get in the way of true love.

9. Meet Cute
Season one, episode 3 is where it all started. Waverly doesn't even realize she's bisexual yet when an appropriately-named police officer mosies into her bar. Nicole tells her that she's been meaning to introduce herself, and "it's just that when I see something I like, I don't want to wait." Waverly, covered in beer from a malfunctioning tap says what we're all thinking when she replies, "god, I'm sopping wet."
Follow that with Nicole helping Waverly out of her shirt, Waverly getting flustered and saying she's dating a "boy-man," and Nicole putting her cowboy hat on like the boss she is, and this is one way hot meet cute.
8. A Little Private Time
Late in season one, Nicole and Waverly get some private time to be alone before they've told Wynonna that they're a couple. Nicole tenderly kisses Waverly on the neck and soon the two are making out and getting ready to take off their clothes when they're walked in on by Willa, Waverly's sister. Way to kill the mood.
7. The Second Proposal
This fourth season has been a wild one. First Waverly had to get back from the Garden, then Nicole was under a curse where she couldn't tell anyone else what she had done to get cursed. Finally when they're all relaxed with some quiet time, our favorite couple gets to redo their proposal the right way. In a classic queer women move, they've both prepared for the moment. Surrounded by family, it doesn't get better than this.
6. Maybe You Should Make Me
Wow, talk about a great first kiss! Back in season one, Waverly and Nicole were flirting, but then Waves just can't take it any more and once she knows the two of them are alone in the police department she brings Nicole into an office, lowers the blinds, and kisses her passionatly on the couch.
"I don't wanna be friends. When I think about what I wanna do most in the world, it's you," Waverly says. What seals the deal is Nicole pulling Waverly towards her by the scarf and telling her maybe she should stop talking. "Maybe you should stop talking to," Waverly replies. "Maybe you should make me," Nicole says.
5. Best Sex is Makeup Sex Right?
Waverly's been acting weird (because she's possessed early in season two), but she and Nicole can't stay mad at each other. It starts out sweet, with both of them saying that fighting with your girlfriend sucks, and Nicole promising to help Waverly find out the truth about her heritage. When Nicole tells Waverly, "as long as you want me, I will always be by your side," my knees got weak. But that's just where we were getting started. What follows is a steaming hot makeout session and then Nicole picking up Waverly and laying her down on the bed for some makeup sex.
4. You Taste Like My Waverly Again
It was sexy enough that Nicole could tell Waverly tasted different when she was possessed, so when she was finally free of the demon's control halfway through season 2, and Nicole tells her "you taste like my Waverly again," our hearts melted. Plus, Waverly telling her that even while possessed, she remembers every touch and every kiss with Nicole adds another level of hot.
3. Every Curve, Every Sigh, Every Touch
In Season 4, Waverly and Nicole are finally reunited after Waverly (along with Wynonna and Doc) went missing for over a year, and when Nicole isn't sure if they'll remember how to please each other, Waverly assures her that she knows "every curve, every sigh, every taste" of Nicole.
2. Cheerleaders are Everyone's Thing
Wow, Nicole sure is right when she says cheerleaders are everyone's thing and as such, season two episode three will always have a special place in the hearts of queer fans. Waverly dusts off her old cheerleading outfit and performs a special dance just for Waverly. It's a moment of pure dyke camp that's played entirely to the queer women's gaze. The look on Nicole's face says it all.
1. Reunion Sex
One of the hottest lesbian sex scenes in television history happened in the fourth season of Wynonna Earp. When Nicole sees Waverly for the first time after she's been missing for 18 months, they get hot and heavy on the floor, on the stairs, and wherever they can. It's passionate, it's romantic, it's hot as hell, and it's one of the best moments in the show.
