"When I look at y'all I see infinite possibilities — I see the future."
It's getting closer and closer.
After debuting a trailer for the final season, Pose has now dropped a first look with the stars talking us through the upcoming plot lines. The year is 1994 with the AIDS epidemic at an all-time high and our Evangelista family are all battling things in their respective lives.
"Season three is about social justice, anti-discrimination, hope, there is family of course," Dominique Jackson says in the clip.
"This season we're tackling drug addiction," Hailie Sahar. "Because people don't have family, because they don't know that they are loved, often times they turn to something to numb that pain."
In the clip we also see Blanca, seemingly having relationship troubles with her new beau played by Jeremy Pope. There also seems to be a wedding between Angel and Lil Papi.
"In this season, my character is more giving, and more loving," Jackson says. "Elektra is now taking her money and helping those in her community who need it." She seems at one point to be training Pray Tell as a sex line operator. There even seems to be a flashback to earlier days and the start of the House of Abundance. This is to be expected as it was previously announced that we would see Elektra's backstory in the season.
Pose's third and final season will debut on Sunday, May 2 in a double feature. The full season will include seven episodes.
