The wait is almost over for new episodes of the beloved Showtime series!

Season 2 of Showtime's The L Word: Generation Q is premiering later this summer, and for those super fans out there who have subscribed to Showtime, you get to stream the first episode a whole two days early before the series' broadcast premiere!

According to a report from Deadline, the premiere episode of the second season of the modern-day reboot of The L Word (which originally premiered back in 2004) will be available both on-demand and on streaming for Showtime subscribers on Friday, August 6! Showtime will then run the premiere on broadcast on Sunday, August 8, and the first five episodes of the season will continue to air on Sunday nights before switching over to Monday nights at 9pm! The season finale is also scheduled to air on October 11, so we've got multiple weeks of new The L Word content to look forward to this year!

And to celebrate Generation Q's epic return, we were just blessed with some teaser trailers!

All of our favorite characters -- like Bette Porter (Jennifer Beals), Shane McCutcheon (Katherine Moennig), Alice Pieszecki (Leisha Hailey), Dani Nunez (Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (Leo Sheng), Sarah Finley (Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (Rosanny Zayas), Gigi Ghorbani (Sepideh Moafi), and Angelica Porter-Kennard (Jordan Hull) -- are all returning to serve us up all the drama, messiness, heartbreak, and love of queer life in Los Angeles!

Season 2 of The L Word: Generation Q premieres on streaming and on-demand for Showtime subscribers Friday, August 6 and on-air on Sunday, August 8 at 8pm.
