Check Out the Wild First Trailer & Poster for AHS: Double Feature
We've got aliens! We've got mermaids! We've got ALIENS AND MERMAIDS MAKING OUT!
Ryan Murphy has unleashed the first trailer for the upcoming 10th season of American Horror Story, entitled Double Feature, and we have our best look at the new season's big bads! In both the trailer and a new series poster that Murphy shared, both a large-eyed alien and a pale-skinned mermaid, or siren, are featured heavily.
The series poster shows a large green alien head sticking out of a cracked desert floor, and below, a siren's sharp-toothed mouth floats under the water.
The trailer itself is quite a rollercoaster, mostly featuring the sirens from Part 1: Red Tide, and the green aliens from Part 2: Death Valley. Cut between the images of the monsters we also see a deer in headlights, spooky isolated roads, lots of pills, a violin made out of meat, and waves of water and sand crashing towards each other.
"Twice the terror...two worlds collide...American Horror Story: Double Feature," the trailer says.
Much like the teaser image Murphy shared last week, we also get a look at the alien and the siren getting close and intimate, and then later fighting, indicating that the two stories will come to an explosive head.
While most AHS seasons feature their fair share of monsters and villains, this will be the first season to split up the villains into two separate stories. It could provide a very interesting twist to the beloved franchise.
The cast for Double Feature includes AHS classics like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Finn Wittrock, and Angelica Ross. New members to the cast this year include Macaulay Culkin, Kaia Gerber, and Neal McDonough.

American Horror Story: Double Feature premieres August 25 on FX, streaming on FX on Hulu the next day.
