Will Wilhelm and Simon get back together?

One of Netflix's most beloved couples is coming back!

Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Edvin Ryding) and Simon (Omar Rudberg) are back in the new trailer for season two of Swedish show Young Royals.

The new trailer has a pretty heavy and dramatic tone, showing the heartbreak between Wilhelm and Simon after last season. The two aren't together anymore and don't know if they can trust one another ever again.

The first season ended with Wilhelm's cousin August leaking the sex tape between Wilhelm and Simon. At first, Wilhelm denied his involvement, but later confessed his love for Simon in front of the entire school. Unfortunately, Simon isn't ready to get back together.

The official synopsis for the new season says that "a winter break has passed, and Prince Wilhelm and the rest of his classmates are back at Hillerska. When Wilhelm tries to take revenge on August, and win back Simon's trust, he creates problems that threaten the entire monarchy."

Ryding and Rudberg have been teasing some pretty big changes this season, telling Gay Times they're not sure how fans will react.

"I had a lot of fun during season one and, ahead of season two, I was pretty anxious beforehand because I had a long period of time where I didn't understand why he did what he did this season," Ryding said about Wilhelm's actions in season 2.

"I thought, 'How will I be able to defend this, as an actor?' But then I realized I shouldn't defend this," he continued. "This is Wilhelm, he's coming from this place and this is the way he reacts to it. Once I figured that out, it was super fun."

Rudberg had a more laissez-faire attitude about where season 2 will go. "Like, give some drama! I just love when stuff happens and this season never gets boring because there's a lot going on," he said.

Young Royals Season 2 premieres November 1 on Netflix.
