It was announced today that Young Royals stars Edvin Ryding and Omar Rudberg will be coming to the Big Apple next week to make their Tonight Show debuts!

Young Royals follows the young Prince Wilhelm of Sweden (Ryding) who attends Hillerska boarding school. There he meets Simon Eriksson (Rudberg), a fellow student at the school on a scholarship, and falls in love with him.
The show has exploded in popularity after the first season aired in 2021. Along with shows like Heartstopper and Sex Education, Young Royals has helped make Netflix a go-to streamer for fans of wholesome LGBTQ+ teen romances.
The second season of Young Royals was released at the beginning of November this year. The new season saw Simon and Wilhelm break up after a video of them kissing was publicly leaked. While the show hasn't yet been renewed for a third season, fans are hoping and praying it does so that they can see if Wilmon (the ship name for Wilhelm and Simon) will be endgame or not.
Recently, Rudberg and Ryding said that they'd love to do a crossover with another European Netflix show, Heartstopper. Rudberg said a meeting between Wilhelm and Simon and Heartstopper's Nick and Charlie would be "f*cking iconic" and "amazing."
"If Nick and Charlie traveled to Stockholm..." Ryding added. "Maybe this is like season eight of Young Royals and Simon is a successful singer and the biggest one in Sweden. Charlie's a big fan, so he takes Nick to Stockholm to see Simon sing. You see where I'm going here?"
Tune in Thursday night on NBC to see if the two young stars talk more about this potential crossover. Young Royals is currently streaming on Netflix.
