From Ander to Patrick, Elite's Omar (Omar Ayuso) has experienced several ups and downs when it comes to his romantic relationships on Netflix's popular teen drama series.
In the first season, Omar was introduced as Yusef and Iman's rebellious son and Nadia's supportive brother. It was also established early on that Omar worked as a drug dealer to make some money on the side. Coming from a conservative Muslim family that migrated from Palestine, Omar's parents were strict about their children doing well in school and abiding by their household rules. Thus, Omar was terrified of exploring his sexuality for a long time.
But eventually, with the help of others throughout the series, Omar has been able to come out of his shell and live in his truth, exploring different relationships with different guys along the way.

Christian unpretentiously introduced Ander (Aron Piper) to Omar in Elite season one because Ander wanted to buy marijuana and Omar could sell him some. At the time, though, neither Omar nor Ander were open about their sexual orientations. One night, Ander created a profile on a gay dating app and matched with an anonymous guy who was close in proximity - which happened to be Omar. Upon recognizing Ander as Christian's friend, Omar freaked out and rushed away. But when they met a second time, both Omar and Ander gave in to their impulses and shared their first kiss. Initially, Omar really struggled with his sexuality and only wanted to meet with Ander at a deserted bridge. By the end of season one, Omar told Ander that he loved him, but that didn't mean that Omar was ready to go all-in yet.
In season two, Ander made it a habit to visit Omar's family store in order to sneak in and get to see him. Alas, any chance of them hanging out was interrupted by Omar's dad having a heart attack, which prompted Omar to take over the family business. When Ander kept showing up at the store, a terrified Omar pushed him away to avoid getting caught. This led Ander to resent Omar for some time and share a night with Polo. However, it didn't take long for Ander to feel guilty and confront Omar about what was going on between them. Ander's insistence eventually convinced Omar to go out to a club with him. There, Omar and Ander danced together and felt freer than ever, which culminated in their iconic nightclub kiss happening in front of everyone else. After the nightclub, Omar got home and was confronted by his parents, which ended with Omar's father kicking him out of their house. Ander then offered Omar to stay at his place, which marked the beginning of their relationship living together. Elite season two ended with Omar and Ander finally dating on an official basis.
Omar and Ander's relationship in season three felt like a dream-come-true at first. They were living together, they accepted themselves for who they were, and their relationship seemed to be rock solid. But with all of the Elite plot twists, it was expected that the couple wouldn't know peace for too long. The entirety of season three focused on Ander's cancer diagnosis and treatment. Omar was nothing but helpful and supportive throughout the entire time, but Ander unconsciously pushed his boyfriend away as he dealt with being sick.
At this time, Nadia had started to date a guy named Malick (Leiti Sene) who made it known that he wanted to sleep with Omar instead of his sister. After being pushed away by Ander so many times, Omar fell into temptation and cheated on him with Malick. Ander eventually found out about the cheating and made up a lie that he, too, was seeing someone new. By the end of Elite season three, Omar had convinced himself that he would leave Ander behind and move to the United States alongside his sister. However, when the time came to fly away to America, Omar chose to stay in Spain, reconcile with Ander, and keep taking care of him.
Omar and Ander were back to being in a steady relationship on Elite season four, but another obstacle was thrown their way. A new student named Patrick (Manu Rios) started getting in between them and made it hard for Ander to resist him. That was when Ander asked Omar if he'd be interested in having a threesome with Patrick, which Omar hesitantly agreed to. However, Patrick started to hook up with Omar and Ander separately and ended up causing more drama than ever between the couple, causing them to break up.
Omar ended the fourth season of Elite begging Ander to give their relationship another shot, but the damage that Patrick had inflicted on the couple had already been too much for them to handle. Along with his friend Guzman (who had reasons of his own), Ander was now the one choosing to leave town. As such, the Elite season four finale culminated in Ander and Guzman saying goodbye and driving away from their friends and loved ones. For now, that is the end of Omar's relationship timeline on Elite.
