Bob the Drag Queen won't be walking purse first into the RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 werkroom because she never got invited to be on this special "all-winners" season.
During the most recent Patreon-exclusive episode of the Sibling Rivalrypodcast, cohosts Monet X Change and Bob reviewed the entrance looks and promo looks for each of the eight contestants featured on All Stars 7.
Over the course of the episode, Bob brought up Bianca Del Rio's tweet about being "too busy" to compete on this season and Shea Coulee's response being "No you weren't."
The winner of Drag Race season eight then addressed why she isn't on All Stars 7: "I want everyone to know I was not busy. I literally just did not get a call. They did not reach out to me. So I want everyone to know: I was free as a bird with its tail in the breeze. I was helping Monet get ready, actually."
Many fans were indeed surprised by Bob not being a part of this "all-winners" cast, which features four winners of regular seasons, three All Stars winners, and the first-ever winner of Drag Race UK, The Vivienne. Prior to this confirmation on Sibling Rivalry, she had already suggested that she was as surprised by her exclusion from All Stars 7 as everyone else. In a recent Instagram post (included below), Bob was seen reacting to this season's announcement and side-eying the fact that she isn't in this cast. The season eight winner also tweeted out, "Imagine my shock this morning."
To be fair, Bob was probably well-aware that this "all-winners" season had already been filmed given her close proximity to X Change and the suggestion that she helped the All Stars 4 winner prepare for the competition. Nonetheless, this doesn't change the fact that Bob was apparently not invited to be in it -- something that she can now reveal since the cast has been officially announced.
RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 premieres Friday, May 20 on Paramount+.
