All Stars 7's Snatch Game Is Highest-Rated Drag Race Episode Ever
The Snatch has bounced back.
After the complete failure that was the Snatch Game on RuPaul's Drag Race season 14, the queens of All Stars 7 have delivered what is being considered the best overall Snatch Game episode of all time.
Expectations were quite high for the Snatch Game of All Stars 7 given that the season featured four queens who had won this challenge: Jinkx Monsoon, Trinity The Tuck, Shea Coulee, and The Vivienne. On the other hand, queens like Raja and Yvie Oddly had to bounce back from their not-so-great performances in their original seasons.
This incredible Snatch Game episode on All Stars 7 has received a 9.9 rating on IMDB - making it the highest-rated episode in RuPaul's Drag Race herstory on the platform.
With this being an all-winners season, RuPaul challenged the queens to play two - not just one - Snatch Game characters during the challenge. Monsoon steamrolled the competition with her impersonations of Judy Garland and Natasha Lyonne. Trinity was another standout with her Snatch Game choices being Satan and Leslie Jordan.
After her lackluster job playing Tyra Banks at the Snatch Game in season three, Raja was surprisingly incredible impersonating Madame and Diana Vreeland. Other standout performances from the queens included Monet X Change's Mike Tyson, Coulee's Elsa Majimbo, The Vivienne's Catherine Tate, and Oddly's Boogieman. While Jaida Essence Hall's Prince impersonation wasn't objectively strong, it turned out to be absolutely hilarious in its own way.
In the end, Monsoon and Trinity won the challenge. Monsoon earned her first Legendary Legend Star of the season, but Trinity had been blocked by Coulee in the previous episode and therefore didn't get a Star. Episode two of All Stars 7 ended with Monsoon winning the lip sync to Adele's "Rumour Has It" and blocking Coulee from winning a Legendary Legend Star in episode three.
