Strap In: Kehlani Is Coming to The L Word: Generation Q Season 3

kehlani

The sexiest show on TV is about to get a whole lot sexier!

Kehlani is bringing their sapphic swagger to The L Word: Generation Q.

The sultry and always-so-cool singer announced on Instagram that she's been cast in a guest starring role in the upcoming third season of Showtime's reboot of The L Word.

"From binging @sho_thelword to guest starring on #TheLWord. See you for Season 3!" the singer wrote on her instagram.

Some of her upcoming castmates commented on the post, sharing their excitement. Original cast member Leisha Hailey, who plays Alice, put a bunch of heart emojis, and Rosanny Zayas, who plays Sopphie, added star emojis.

Jillian Mercado, who plays Maribel commented that "they aren't READY" and we certainly are not!!! Jacqueline Toboni, who plays gay disaster Finley, declared that Kehlani was "officially crowned the most gay."

The casting is further proof of the power of Extreme Lesbian Manifestation. Back in 2021, Kehlani declared that she was a huge fan of the show and wanted to be cast on it.

"I would just like to say...I would like to be a part of @sho_thelword in some way shape or form," she wrote in an Instagram story. "Cmon, call me zaddy."

Looks like she got that call.

Who do you think Kehlani will be playing? We've got to be hoping that she plays a love interest for one of the characters. Yes, most of them are currently in relationships, but The L Word is known for its love triangles and cheating plotlines, and how could anyone resist Kehlani?

It's hard to believe that The L Word could get any sexier, but if there's anyone who can do it, it's Kehlani.

The L Word: Generation Q was renewed for a third season back in February. We don't know exactly when the new season will premiere, other than late 2022, but production is currently under way.
