The casts of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars usually bring back some of the very best queens who have ever competed in the series, which typically results in legendary talent shows, roasts, balls, acting challenges, and, of course, Lip Syncs For Your Legacy.
Even though there have been quite a few disappointing lip syncs on All Stars, there have also been numerous incredible performances from these returning queens. Between All Stars 2 and All Stars 4, the format of the competition consisted of the top two contestants of the week lip syncing for their legacy. This general structure was brought back for All Stars 7, the first-ever all-winners season of Drag Race. In turn, All Stars 5 and All Stars 6 followed a Rumocracy format where the top contestant of the week lip synced against a special guest queen dubbed as a Lip Sync Assassin.
No matter which All Stars format was followed since season two, the series has been all about lip syncing for your legacy instead of trying to save your place in the competition in a regular Lip Sync For Your Life. This makes a huge difference on the show given that winning a lip sync is worth a cash tip of $10,000 and helps solidify a queen's overall track record in the competition.
Whether they gagged the judges and viewers with props, dance moves, stunts, or synchronicity, certain queens have really come through while lip syncing on All Stars.
