'Schitt's Creek' Star Dan Levy Joins 'Sex Education' Season 4
Dan Levy is officially joining Netflix's hit series 'Sex Education!'
Emmy-winning actor Dan Levy is heading to Sex Education.
As the fourth season of Netflix's hit show draws nearer, we're learning more and more about it, and now, we know one exciting star who is joining the cast.
The season 4 logline for the show says that "Maeve is living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus...."
Levy will be playing Thomas Molloy, a famous author and Maeve's U.S. course tutor at her Ivy League college. While Otis, Eric, Viv, Jackson, Aimee, and Adam are still in the U.K., attending Cavendish Sixth Form College, Maeve is in the US.

Several other new cast members were also announced today. These include Thaddea Graham, Marie Reuther, Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, and Imani Yahshua. We had previously heard that the show was casting two trans actors to play the roles of Abbi, a trans girl, and Kent, her transmasculine boyfriend. It appears that Anthony Lexa will play Abbi, and Felix Mufti will play Kent.
Levy posted this picture on his Instagram, with the caption "Sex Ed. Season 4. VERY serious news."
Back in 2021, Levy even campaigned for a role on the show, talking to star Butterfield. "From what I remember correctly, Dan Levy spoke to [Asa] and said how much he liked the show and that he would like to be a substitute teacher," Mimi Keene, who plays Ruby on the show, said.
While he's not playing a substitute teacher, he is playing a teacher. Way to make your dreams come true, Dan!
Several fan-favorite cast members have announced that they will not be coming back for the new season, including Simone Ashley (Olivia), Tanya Reynolds (Lily), Patricia Allison (Ola) and Rakhee Thakrar (Emily Sands). However, Gillian Anderson, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Alistair Petrie, Samathan Spiro, Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Chinenye Ezeudu, Kedar Willimas-Stirling, Dua Saleh, Aimee-Lou Wood, and Connor Swindells are all returning.
Sex Education season 4 is coming soon, and seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix.
