We'll get one more chance to see Viktor and the rest of the Hargreeves.

The Umbrella Academy has been renewed for one final fourth season at Netflix.

Netflix's ambitious sci-fi superhero family story has one more chance to wrap up all of its stories.

Based on the graphic novel by My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way and artist Gabriel Ba, The Umbrella Academy is a sprawling story about a family of superpowered siblings, time travel, and the end of the world.

The latest season of the show especially shined when it was focusing on the story of Viktor Hargreeves, played by Oscar-nominated actor Elliot Page. Viktor had been a woman in the first two seasons, but when Page transitioned IRL, the show wanted his character to do the same.

The Umbrella Academy brought in Page and Thomas Page McBee to consult on the storyline of Viktor coming out in the latest season, and it ended up being one of the best trans coming out storylines in TV history. It'll be exciting to see an entire season where Viktor is out and able to be himself.

"I'm so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings' journey we began five years ago," series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Steve Blackman said. "But before we get to that conclusion, we've got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes."

Next up, Blackman is making a Horizon Zero Dawn show for the streamer, based on the popular video game.

Seasons 1-3 of The Umbrella Academy are currently streaming on Netflix.
