Unfortunately, Michael Bruner has now been evicted from Big Brother 24.
Bruner served incredible LGBTQ+ representation over the course of the long-running reality competition's 24th season - breaking records in competition wins, being the superfan we all love to see, and doing his very best to play a social game that was never truly on his side. And yet, being a competitive beast always puts a huge target on a player's back, so the other houseguests took advantage of Bruner sitting on the block this week.
Despite being clearly upset by his eviction, Bruner still took the moment to give superfans what they always want: an iconic exit speech as he walked out of the Big Brother house.
"Everyone please stay seated," Bruner declared while getting up from his seat. "I have one thing I would like to say..." Without saying anything else, Bruner walked out and left the house.
While casual viewers - or new fans - may perceive Bruner's exit as him being a "sour loser," this is exactly the kind of legendary exit speech that longtime Big Brother diehards have always loved to see. He was petty, kept his costars guessing what he'd do up until his very last second in the house, and had a blast on his way out trolling them.
For someone whose favorite player is Janelle Pierzina, a.k.a. the Queen of Big Brother, Bruner has certainly studied this franchise and learned how to make great television for superfans of the show. Even though Bruner didn't walk out of BB24 as a winner, he will always be remembered by dedicated fans of the show as an iconic player and a record-breaking comp beast.
We have a feeling this won't be the last we see of Bruner inside the Big Brother house, as he is an absolutely perfect choice to come back as a returning houseguest in a future season.
Big Brother 24 airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays on CBS.
