Turning looks and snatching trophies!
Mama Ru arrived at the 2022 Emmy Awards red carpet not only with co-judges Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley, but also with nearly the entire cast of RuPaul's Drag Race season 14 - except for one contestant.
Alyssa Hunter, Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Bosco, Daya Betty, DeJa Skye, Jasmine Kennedie, Jorgeous, June Jambalaya, Kerri Colby, Lady Camden, Maddy Morphosis, Orion Story, and Willow Pill walked the 2022 Emmys red carpet alongside RuPaul, which means that Miss Congeniality winner Kornbread "The Snack" Jete was the only season 14 contestant not in attendance.
Fans first started to notice Jete's absence when videos surfaced on social media of RuPaul, Visage, Kressley, and (almost) the entire cast of season 14 posing for pictures at the red carpet.
As of this writing, Jete has not shared an explanation on social media for not attending the 2022 Emmys along with her Drag Race sisters. Still, having 13 of the 14 contestants there certainly underlined Jete's absence.
Season 14 of RuPaul's Drag Race was nominated for eight Emmy Awards this year, and the show has already won in two of those categories. During the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, Drag Race will be competing for Outstanding Competition Program - which it has won for the past four consecutive years.
Hopefully, Drag Race will sustain its winning streak from the past four years at the Emmys.
RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race season two airs Fridays on VH1.
