The First, Shirtless Teaser for 'Welcome to Chippendales' Is Here

Murray Bartlett, Robin De Jesús, and Andrew Rannells star in the limited series alongside Kumail Nanjiani.

"A world of luxury right at your fingertips." That's Steve Banerjee's dream for Chippendales in the new debut teaser for Hulu's limited series Welcome to Chippendales.

Described as a "sprawling true-crime saga," the upcoming limited series tells the story of Somen "Steve" Banerjee (Nanjiani), "an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world's greatest male-stripping empire -- and let nothing stand in his way in the process."

The teaser starts out happy enough, with Banerjee and his friends making lots of money, handsome male dancers ripping off their pants, and lots of '80s hair. But things turn dark pretty quickly.

The clip soon turns to Banerjee's partners threatening him, ominous voice-overs, and a shot of a dead man in a bed next to a shotgun. Are you ready for all this?

The show also stars Emmy winner Murray Bartlett, Dan Stevens, Quentin Plair, and Andrew Rannells. Robin De Jesus, who starred in tick, tick... BOOM!, is also appearing in the series in the role of Ray Colon, a Nuyorican handyman from the Bronx who became the self-proclaimed "jack of all trades" for the Chippendales.

Colon is described as eager-to-please, especially when it comes to the man he reveres the most - his boss Banerjee. According to descriptions, Colon will be put in several compromising situations while trying to best serve his boss.

Bartlett is playing Nick De Noia, the Chippendales' closeted choreographer and a pivotal figure in the rise and fall of Banerjee and his empire.

Other cast members include Annaleigh Ashford, Juliette Lewis, and Spencer Boldman. Robert Seigel and Jenni Konner serve as co-showrunners.

The first two episodes of Welcome to Chippendales premiere on Tuesday, November 22, with new episodes every Tuesday after that.
