Meet the Queens of 'Drag Race Italia' Season 2
The magic is back!
Just like its inaugural season, Drag Race Italia season two will be once again hosted and judged by Priscilla, alongside regular judges Chiara Francini and Tommaso Zorzi. However, season two has a few changes in store for the fans.
For one, Drag Race Italia season two will have 10 contestants instead of 8. This means that this second season will very likely be longer than season one, which only had a total of six episodes. Season two will also have an earlier start in the year in comparison to the first season, which basically ran up until Christmas Eve in 2021.
After the crowning of Elecktra Bionic at the end of Drag Race Italia season one (despite her not winning a single maxi challenge), 10 new queens are now entering the werkroom to snatch the crown and fight to become Italy's Next Drag Race Superstar.
Scroll through to learn more about the queens on season two of Drag Race Italia, which premieres October 20 on WOW Presents Plus.

Aura Eternal
Instagram: @aura_eternal
23-years-old, from Mondello (Palermo). Aura has excellent singing skills, having graduated from the conservatory, and began drag to mix her two greatest passions of make-up and music. Her character is inspired by the great divas and supermodels of the nineties, like Mariah Carey and Linda Evangelista. The message Aura Eternal wants to communicate to her audience is one of free love without prejudice; the hunger for freedom; and the desire to be whoever you want, always and in any case.
La Diamond
Instagram: @la.diamond
34-years-old, from Riesi (Caltanissetta). Eclectic and colorful, La Diamond is one of the most known and appreciated drag queens in Italy not only for her talent on stage and for her beauty, but also for her reputation as a highly skilled stylist. Artistically born in 2011 after seeing drag queens for the first time and making tailored costumes for them, over the years her flair and creativity lead her to become an example for all her Italian colleagues. With an image resembling Madonna's, her outfits seem straight out of a Tim Burton film, always leaving everyone amazed.
Gioffré

25-years-old, from New York. Gioffre's drag character mixes horror and glamour in a "manifestation of the surreal." Gioffre's is known for her dark image through the crazy costumes and accessories that she makes herself. Obama
Instagram: @obama_queen_
32-years-old, from Rome. Of Senegalese origins, Obama began drag in the early 2000s under the name 'Naomo.' Instagram: @tanissa_yonce
