Fire Island Pines Literary and Theater Weekend returns this Saturday for its eight year, featuring Tony and Emmy Award-winner Andrea Martin and Emmy nominee Seth Rudesky. Hosted at The Madison Fire Island Pines, the free and public event will see the two in performance, followed by a talkback. They will also be signing copies of their recent publications.
Martin, who stars in Michael Frayn's upcoming Broadway show Noises Off, as well as in Hulu's half-hour comedy Difficult People with Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner, is a veteran of stage and screen. Andrea Martin's Lady Parts, recently published by Harper Collins, shares insight into her personal and professional life.
Rudesky hosts SiriusXM Satellite Radio's On Broadway and Seth Speaks on SiriusXM Stars. His recently published Young Adult novel, The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek, by Random House, is a laugh-out-loud tale that any kid who's aspired to Broadway can relate to.
Hosted by Christine Pedi and produced by Ben Hodges, it promises to be a jam-packed day, full of delights for theater lovers. Things kick off with a cocktail reception at 2pm on Saturday, October 10, followed by a performance and talk back. For more information, visit Broadway World.
