Fun Home Cast Album Reaches #1 on Billboard Charts

Fun Home, the Tony-endorsed new musical (12 noms!) taking Broadway by storm can now add "Billboard #1" to its growing list of accolades.

The album recording from the musical has officially reached the top of the Billboard Cast Album chart. Produced by PS Classics, it features new music made especially for the show's Broadway run.

Fun Home is directed by Tony award nominee Sam Gold, with music by five-time Tony award nominee Jeanine Tesori, and a book Lisa Kron. It tells the story of Alison (Emily Skeggs) and her dysfuntional family over the course of three different ages. The musical was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in the Drama category, after havingopened to rave reviews at the Circle in the Square Theatre, in April.
