The 26th annual event benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
It's time for everyone's favorite Broadway event. No, I don't mean Hamilton. Broadway Bares is back and tickets are now on sale.
The 26th annual event benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Over 200 of New York's sexiest and most skillful dancers will shake what their mamas gave them to raise money for HIV/AIDS research. Last year, they brought in $1,598,501, accumulating over $14.3 million since 1992 when creator, Jerry Mitchell and six friends danced on a bar, raising $8,000.
Although this year's theme is not yet known, it will be directed for the fourth year in a row by Nick Kenkel (Catch Me If You Can, Peepshow, Legally Blonde). Tickets range from $50 to $3,000. The "Stripper Spectacular" package offers unlimited specialty cocktails, premium reserved table seating, and admission to a private cocktail party with Mitchell.
