It's been a month since the tragic shooting in Orlando that killed 49 people, but the LGBTQ community and allies continue to show their utmost support for the survivors and the families of victims.
The theatre communities of Broadway and Orlando will unite for a remarkable and unforgettable performance entitled From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert. The show will take place at Disney Theatre in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on July 25.
Some of the biggest Broadway names will make a special appearance, such as Tony award winners Chita Rivera, Norbert Leo, Kelli O'Hara, Jessie Mueller, and Brian Stokes Mitchell. Other stars include Andrea McArdle, who originally played Annie, Darren Criss who performed in Hedwig and the Angry Inch back in 2015, and others. The show promises moments of healing through music and dance.
Tickets are on sale here. All proceeds will be donated equally to the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida, Hope, and Help Center of Central Florida and Zebra Coalition.
