Theater kids around America today are freaking.

Theater kids around America today are freaking, because it's their second favorite time of the year: Tony nominations have been announced. This year's roster isn't too surprising, but there are some notable pieces of data to take into consideration.

Natasha, Pierre, & The Great Comet of 1812, the musical based off of part of War and Peace, leads the pack with 12 noms, and Bette Midler's Hello, Dolly! nabbed 10--including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Lead Actress in a Musical. Dear Evan Hansen has 9 noms, including a Best Actor nod for Ben Platt, Best Musical, Best Direction and Best Orchestrations.

Jake Gyllenhaal's Sunday in the Park With George withdrew itself from this year's Tony Awards, reportedly because they felt they stand "appropriately outside of any awards competition," having had such a limited run. And Glenn Close's acclaimed turn in Sunset Boulevard isn't eligible.

The Tonys take place June 11 and will be hosted by the one and only Kevin Spacey. Take a look at the full list of nominations, below:
