The face reveal from Orville Peck on Broadway's Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club feels even more possible now.

Orville Peck, who's making his Broadway debut in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in March, shared a first-look image teasing his unmasked silhouette as the character of Emcee.

It's been a long journey for Peck to adopt new masks and face coverings throughout his career. By the time that 2024's Stampede was released, the gay country singer was no longer covering his entire face as he did in 2019's Pony.

Now, the official Instagram pages for both Peck and Broadway's Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club have shared a new first-look picture of the singer in character as the Emcee — looking pretty clearly unmasked despite mostly just showing his silhouette.

"If you had a secret, you bet I would keep it. Orville Peck is the next Emcee. See him live from March 31 at the #KitKatClub," the caption reads.

Academy Award-winning actor Eddie Redmayne originated the character of Emcee in this new Broadway production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. Then, 2024 Out100 honoree Adam Lambert substituted Redmayne for a limited run.

Notably, RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 star Marcia Marcia Marcia — known as Marty Lauter out of drag — has been an understudy for the role of the Emcee ever since Redmayne's run on the show. Otherwise, Lauter also plays the character of Victor in this production — an experience they've detailed in an interview with Out.

Next up is Orville Peck — not only making his Broadway debut but also seemingly adding a "face reveal" for his time in the musical. Earlier this Wednesday, Peck shared a New York Times crossword puzzle question referencing him. The singer wrote:

"Y'all I've done the @nytimes crossword every day for YEARS [crying emoji]."

The official Instagram account for Broadway's Cabaret also shared the New York Times crossword puzzle that included questions about the singer and the musical.

The caption read, "This couldn't please us more @nytgames."

The Instagram stories from Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club on Instagram also re-shared this first in-character image of Peck's silhouette.

Photographer Gina Gizella (@gina_gizella) was credited for capturing this stunning and cryptic first-look picture of the singer bringing the Emcee to life.

Another promo shot shared on the Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club featured Peck's costar, Eva Noblezada, who will be playing the character of Sally Bowles.

"Something's bound to begin," the official Instagram for Cabaret wrote in an Instagram story. "@livevamaria is the next Sally Bowles. See her live from March 31 at the #KitKatClub."
