The original Cabaret emcee turns 84.
It's hard to imagine that Joel Grey only just officially came out last year - that is, the first time he was featured in a magazine labeling himself as "a gay man."
"I was never not out," Grey told Out last year when he was featured in 2015's Out 100 portfolio, "I was just never asked before." Grey's noteworthy career includes not only starring in the original stage and screen version of Cabaret (for which he won an Oscar), but also the original Off-Broadway production of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart.
