If you've ever been to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, you know it's a celebration that can't be missed. In GoNOLA's latest travel ad, they show what would happen if progress for LGBTQ people came to a halt. In the middle of a Mardi Gras parade, the music takes a somber turn, wigs come off, and the crowd starts marching backward.
Ultimately, the video celebrates the city's progress and diversity. The music kicks back up with lively beat as people in colorful wigs and costumes come running out of the bars with a sign that says, "We're never going back."
