You'd normally have to book a trip with NASA to party with cowboys and aliens, but thanks to Pines Party, so many folks looking for a good time only needed to head to Fire Island!
Thanks to this exclusive, behind-the-scenes photography from Roland Fitz, we got to tag along to see everything that went down at this year's Pines Party — and it looked like one futuristic yee-haw of a time! With 2024's theme being "Galactic Rodeo," Pines Party transformed the shores of Fire Island into the place to be this summer, with party goers letting all their inhibitions loose in their best space cowboy gear. (Cowboy hats, silver/chrome accessories, and ass-less chaps abound!)
The best part about all of the celestial celebrations was that, in keeping with their legacy of helping the LGBTQ+ community on both a local and larger level, proceeds from the Pines Party helped raise money for multiple queer orgs, including the Stonewall Community Foundation, The Pines Foundation, and the Seashore defense fund.
If this year's Pine Party pics give you major FOMO, then mark your calendar's for next year's celebration, as Pines Party returns the weekend of August 1-3, 2025!
