No matter the time of the year, there’s no better place to enjoy a vacation than Las Vegas.
From the bright lights on The Strip to hidden gems spread throughout the valley, there is truly something for every type of tourist under the sunny skies during the daytime.
I’m lucky enough to say that I’ve lived in the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World for the majority of my life and I’m still loving every second of it. Plus, the rising LGBTQ+ presence for locals and tourists alike only makes Las Vegas feel more like home.
As someone who’s ventured into nearly every corner of this iconic destination, the four spots below showcase just a taste of everything this popular destination has to offer without breaking the bank.

It wouldn’t be a complete trip to Las Vegas without visiting one of the best dayclubs in the world. With a rotating roster of world-renowned DJ’s and delicious drinks on tap, DAYLIGHT Beach Club is the prime destination for a thrilling day under the sun. I may have lived in Las Vegas for many years now, but this electric club always makes me feel like a tourist all over again. I’ve made some of my favorite memories at this incredible dayclub as I’ve celebrated my best friend’s birthday here two years in a row! The amazing servers are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and I’m already counting down the days until I can bring my squad back to the pool! If you’re looking for a summer vacation, make sure this place is on your itinerary. The first time I ever attended this brunch, I had no idea it was even a party brunch. Imagine my face when I saw everyone start dancing on tables after we just indulged in an unbelievable selection of crab legs, steak, pizza, fries, and so much more. Whenever a friend asks me for a recommendation when coming to Las Vegas, this is always one of the first places I encourage people to visit. This seasonal brunch is available starting in October and runs through March, so get ready to keep the party going even when it starts to get cold outside. If you have a trip booked before the fall, check out LAVO’s endless brunch happening every Saturday and Sunday.

I’ve had to pick up my jaw from the floor multiple times while attending these unbelievable shows. The talent in Las Vegas is not to be denied as many of the queens on the cast also perform in Cirque du Soleil or hail from other energetic sites like Miami and Los Angeles. The party doesn’t have to stop when brunch is over! While you’re in the Fruit Loop, you have the option to bar hop and mingle with your queer peers all day. GA tickets start at just $35, so don’t miss out on this mind-blowing drag brunch during a trip to Vegas. Visitors can check out Ultra Brunch at Gipsy Nightclub now through the end of July.

It’s no surprise that many people in the LGBTQ+ community naturally gravitate towards artsy and creative neighborhoods and the Las Vegas Arts District is no exception. Not far away from The Strip, I experienced some of my earliest moments growing up in this city by attending local festivals such as First Friday. To be perfectly honest, I started really appreciating everything Las Vegas had to offer once I checked out the lively bar scene, unique thrift stores, art murals, and intimate shows that are all found in the inclusive neighborhood. I even made my relationship with my boyfriend Jeremy official while exploring the Las Vegas Arts District back in 2023, so there are some very core memories I’ve made here that I’ll have for the rest of my life. Many of the activities found in this vibrant neighborhood are very easy on the wallet, so that’s a major bonus when visiting this popular area.

I encourage you to enjoy these special moments for yourself by visiting this historical area. Don’t forget to also check out The Neon Museum! Iconic fixtures from properties that defined Las Vegas years ago and even today give visitors a newfound appreciation for everything this destination is known for.
