The theme for the Spring/Summer 2016 Show was ‘Evolution.’
In a sea of perfectly sculpted models (including ANTM favorite, Nyle Dimarco), all scantily clad in their black pre-show undergarments, 2(x)ist creative director, Jason Scarlatti stands out in a white suit over a plunging V-neck. Celebrating 2(x)ist's 25th year, he explained just how far the brand has come:
"We started out as just a little underwear company that really reinvented men's underwear, and now we've grown into a lifestyle destination. We have women's, which we're launching tonight, bags, swimwear, flip-flops, and watches. So I'm really proud to celebrate our 25th and offer more of a lifestyle and not just the underwear."
Just as the brand has evolved over the past quarter of a century, the evening's show was all about evolution. As people took their seats and the lights dropped, a montage played on a big white wall, showing the brand's progress since 1991 before unveiling the spring/summer 2016 collection.

As Scarlatti explained, the show started with a modern style of darker tones and hard lines. As it progressed, the models sported softer colors and a sun-bleached tropical spirit. Finally, they flooded the runway in matching whites, clearing the way for Scarlatti to take a bow.
It was an evening of new beginnings. With something for everyone, 2(x)ist started its next 25 years with a sophisticated bang.
