Paris-based fashion brand Kenzo is teaming with filmmaker Sean Baker to direct a short campaign film for its spring 2016 collection.
Baker's critically-acclaimed Tangerine, which follows two trans "working girls" in West Hollywood and was entirely shot on iPhone, is up for two Independent Spirits Awards. As his lead actresses, Out100 honorees Mya Taylor & Kitana Kiki Rodriguez, are generating early Oscar buzz, Baker was recruited by creative director Carol Lim and Humberto Leon to shoot a fashion film using the same tricks.

Baker will write and direct the film, which is slated for an early February release according to WWD.
Last season, Kenzo asked queer filmmaker Gregg Araki to direct a short film, Here Now, for its fall collection.
