Ten LGBT couples are on the trip of a lifetime. A group of Chinese couples traveled to West Hollywood to get married yesterday, and received personal tips from Yahoo Style editor-in-chief Joe Zee.
The 10 couples were on a paid destination wedding trip to WeHo. They each received a $1,000 gift card at the Beverly Center, as well as complimentary facials and a chance to shop for their wedding rings.
The Beverly Center has a long-standing commitment to serving the LGBT community and foreign visitiors through its China Ready Program. Meanwhile, Zee, who will be hosting The Fab Life (a new talk show with Tyra Banks, Chrissy Tiegen, and Lauren Makk) this fall, offered the couples some insight on wedding style trends.
"Today, getting dressed for your wedding isn't as traditional as it once was," Zee said. "Brides are going for a stronger fashion statement, especially here in Los Angeles, so their special day becomes one to remember."
