Her work on The Devil Wears Prada earned her an Oscar nomination, and Pat Field's designs for Sex and the City and Ugly Betty are legend. "I'd never met her," Field told The Independent Magazine for a cover story. "I quickly had to get a little feel for her, but my friend was very helpful in that sense. "This is a big project," says Field. "But I was excited because it was different. And that excitement and energy inspires me to do a great job. New experiences like this give me joy."
