Mike Ruiz's annual Mutts and Muscles calendar, now in its 11th year, has benefited charities focused on animal rescues. The 2025 edition features some fitness legends, including cover model Sergi Constance, best known for playing Zeus in Zack Snyder's Justice League film, along with 14 of the most adorable rescue dogs.
"The shelter program system is in crisis mode with dogs being dumped and euthanized at an alarming rate," photographer and Out100 alum Mike Ruiz says. "I use this calendar as a lighthearted way of delivering a somber message about how this country has normalized the disregard for sentient beings."
