Directed by Jon M. Chu, the Wicked film starring Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba), Ariana Grande (Glinda), and Jonathan Bailey (Fiyero) has now shared an official announcement regarding which streaming service it will be available and the date when it will premiere on the service.
Wicked will be available for streaming starting Friday, March 21, on Peacock — as revealed in an official Instagram post for the film that referenced the iconic "holding space" meme from Out reporter Tracy E. Gilchrist.
But it's not just the Wicked movie itself that is coming on Peacock — the streaming service is actually featuring an entire "Defying Gravity Collection" featuring bonus content such as:
'Wicked (Sing-Along Version)'
NBC's 'Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked' special
'Making Wicked' behind-the-scenes footage
Deleted and extended scenes from the movie
Fans are more than ready to watch, re-watch, dissect, sing along, and appreciate all the wonderful Oz moments they have gotten from the first Wicked movie — all while preparing for and anticipating the Wicked: For Good sequel.
Wicked will be available for streaming Friday, March 21 on Peacock.
