Russell Tovey Reunited with Ex-Fiancé Steve Brockman
The Looking star confirmed the news using Instagram—and puppies.
Looks like Russell Tovey found love in a familiar place. Over a year after openly gay English actor Russell Tovey and his rugby coach fiance Steve Brockman officially split up, the Looking star posted a shirtless picture of himself in bed on Sunday crediting the photo to none other than Brockman. Apparently confirming the happy reunion, Brockman commented, "My [world]" via emoji.
The pair got got engaged in February 2018, with Tovey telling The Daily Mail that the development was "completely unexpected" but made him "very, very happy." Three months later, the Quantico actor confirmed via Instagram that he and Brockman had split up: As Metronoted, Tovey deleted pictures of Brockman and told a fan who asked if they were still together, "No darling."
Perhaps it's only fitting then that Instagram is how fans learned the pair was back together again. Adding to the sweetness factor is the fact that Sunday's candid photo shows Tovey sleeping beside his French bulldog Rocky -- and next to two of Brockman's dogs. Earlier in the week, Tovey sparked speculation that he and Brockman were back together again by posting a picture of the puppies together, sans Brockman.
The reunion seems to have taken place in the last two months. As recently as May 2019, Tovey was still single, tellingThe Times in a profile, "Oh, I'm not worried about finding love again at all. I've got not one doubt there's someone out there for me." You could say that Tovey no longer seems to be ... looking.
