Over the years there has been much speculation about the sexuality of Da Brat -- there's frequently much speculation about the sexuality of any female rapper who isn't confirmed to be in a relationship with men, or skew on the "sexier" side of the aesthetic spectrum but that's a bone to pick another day. Now, we don't have to speculate any more as the rapper has decided to share.
"Never have I EVER," she wrote to Instagram. "Needless to say... I've always been a kind of private person until I met my heart's match who handles some things differently than I do. Thank you baby, [Jesseca Dupart,] for far more than this incredible birthday gift. I have never experienced this feeling. It's so overwhelming that often I find myself in a daze hoping to never get pinched to see if it's real so I can live in this dream forever. "
No mama, this is real life and so is that huge white Bentley with the red bow on it! It's all extremely real!
Dupart, who is the CEO and founder of Kaleidoscope Hair Products, gifted her boo with the Bentley as an early birthday present, blaming it on "the way things were going and [her]excitement. " Yes, when the world is going to hell, please buy me a new car! The present comes almost a full month before Da Brat's birthday.
As Dupart has pointed out, though this may be the first "official" post about the pair being together, it's not like they've been hiding. People on social media have posted photos and videos of the pair together, drawing their own conclusions.
"All these videos keep popping up like we hiding," she wrote. "But WE BE IN PUBLIC !! Why is y'all hiding to get footage?"
Well, there's no more need for that. Consider this confirmed.
