And she used the lyrics of Eminem, of all people, to do so.
Looks like when people have extra time on their hands, they start really thinking about their lives and their legacies. And increasingly, it seems, they come to the decision that they should come out to the world about their sexuality. The latest up to bat: Auli'i Cravalho.
Most known for her turn as the voice of Disney's Moana, on Wednesday night, Cravalho responded to a tweet asking whether or not she liked girls.
"If I may escort you to my TikTok," she wrote.
There, on her official account, the star had uploaded a video lip-syncing to Eminem's "Those Kinda Nights." The snippet featured the rapper saying
"Seriously though, how are you doing? You straight?" The actress then mouthed along to the next words.
"No I'm bi," the lyrics went. Well, that was easy enough!

In addition to Moana, the 17-year-old has appeared on Weird City, Rise, and was Ariel in 2019's The Little Mermaid Live!
This was only the latest coming out. Just yesterday Rebecca Black, who came to fame with her viral track "Friday" came out as queer as well. Then the college basketball coach Matt Lynch who came out as gay. Jacqueline Wilson, the children's author, also came out but that was linked to the release of her new novel Love Frankie. Gigi Goode also told the world that she was genderfluid last week on RuPaul's Drag Race -- that was obviously filmed months ago, but one could argue that it was also in a type of quarantine!
Let's keep this energy going! Anyone else have something to say.
