The 18-year-old is being remembered on social media.
According to multiple reports on social media, Frank Ocean's little brother Ryan Breaux has died. Breaux is survived by his brother as well as his mother Katonya Breaux. According to reports he died in a car accident.
Breaux and his superstar brother were close. When Ocean released his album Blonde, Breaux tweeted that he was "glad" that the project was out as when the singer and songwriter is working "he gets focused and forgets to feed me and bring me home," when the pair are in the studio. Breaux even graced the album himself, with an interview from his pre-teen years appearing on 'Futura Free.' Orion, a song from Ocean's Lonny Breaux mixtape, was about Breaux.
"I remember when you were born ohh, how happy I was," Ocean sings on the track. "Cause if it didn't go as I planned it at least you'd double my chances. It's no pressure man, cause you're special. I know you wanna get big and strong quick but don't skip one second."
The youngster had also previously appeared in commercials for his mother's sun protection brand Unsun Cosmetics.
Reports say that Breaux died in a car crash. An ABC story about what is presumed to be the incident said that the accident occurred in Thousand Oaks. It was a single-vehicle collision in which the car collided with a tree in the center median. "The force of the crash caused the car to rip in half and was found by Ventura County sheriff's deputies engulfed in flames," the report said. Thousand Oaks Acorn, a local publication, says that feed was thought to have played into the crash. Two people found inside the Tesla were pronounced dead at the scene. Breaux was expected to be with Ezekial David Biship, known to friends as Zeek.
Many have taken to social media to mourn the loss.
